The Eastern US is about 6 days away from running out of gasoline. It could be less than that if panic buying really kicks in. Expect to hear lots of reassuring words from the government officials and the media about how there is no need to panic and that there is a flotilla of tankers coming our way from Europe. The trouble is that those tankers will take about 10 days to get here...the media is not focused on this story, but should be...be sure and go read the whole thing and then DIGG or REDDIT it or send it to your local media outlet.
