I just spent 2 out of the past 3 hours cowering in the basement watching TV coverage of this huge storm system. As wicked as this looks, it was much worse. Lincoln and Omaha (NE) were under constant tornado warnings for nearly 2 hours.
My dear husband was in the basement of the mall where he works at a jewelry store, with several hundred frightened people, shoppers and store managers and employees,trying to find out what was happening via their cell phones. Mall security didn't provide even a radio.
Many streets in Lincoln and Omaha are flooded, some up to car bumpers. Another storm system is headed our way.

You just haven't lived until you've had the air raid sounding tornado sirens blaring DOOM for hours. * sigh*....
