Well, maybe you did, but LOTS of people didn't. It won the Oscar for best song in 2007. When I ran in to a film student who hadn't seen the film Once (Ireland) I pretty much made up my mind to occasionally post a clip from a great film that was underappreciated. Be sure and see the whole thing! I love this film. Director is John Carney, and featuring Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard.

ONCE has to be one of the most charming films I've ever seen. Since watching it (many times, as I bought the DVD) I've been to see the Swell Season (Glen and Marketa with Frames) twice in concert and their concerts are even better. Wonderful film and I say: SEE IT EVERYONE.
I really liked the movie and loved the song. I was over the moon when I saw them win on the Oscars. Happy with the ending?
