Here we seek a rest in the shade, some cool water and a little kindness. This blog is dedicated to peace, truth, justice and a post- industrial, post-petroleum illumined world in spite of all odds against it. I very much like the line about the ancient knight (see poem below) "His helmet now shall make a hive for bees" It is reminiscent of "beating swords into ploughshares" a sentiment I heartily approve of. North Lincoln Art Crawl December 4, 2009

On Friday, December 4th, Heart of Gold Jewelers, Against the Wall Gallery, Elder Gallery at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lux Center for the Arts, Salt Creek Potters Workshop, Mo Java Café, and The Lichen will kick off North Lincoln Art Crawl.
North Lincoln Art Crawl organizer and Lux staff member, Carlos Guerrero said, "There are many exciting things happening in the art scene in north Lincoln. People don’t typically think of this area of town as being an art hot spot, but it’s quickly becoming one."

Gallery maps will be provided at each of the galleries.
